The core principle of metal sublimation transfer printing is:
1. Special coating: The target metal surface must be coated with a special polymer coating (usually polyester or acrylic).
2. Thermal sublimation ink: Use specialized thermal sublimation ink to print images on transfer paper.
3. Heat and pressure: Apply high temperature (usually 180 ° C-200 ° C) and pressure through a heat transfer machine.
4. Phase transition: At high temperatures, the solid sublimation ink on the transfer paper directly sublimates into a gaseous state.
5. Penetration and binding: Gaseous ink molecules quickly penetrate into the polymer coating on the metal surface.
6. Permanent solidification: When the temperature drops, the ink molecules return to a solid state and are permanently locked inside the coating, integrating with the coating instead of staying on the surface.
