       Quick drying heat transfer paper with a weight of about 90 grams (but lower) has a fast drying speed, smooth surface, and efficient operation. After printing with a high-speed printer, it dries quickly, saving waiting time.
        Regarding "grammage": grammage refers to the weight per square meter of paper (g/m ²). The lower the weight, the lighter and thinner the paper. Low weight heat transfer paper (such as 40 grams or less or even lower) has significant advantages in reducing material costs, improving production efficiency, saving storage and transportation space, and also reducing energy consumption during the production process.

        Choosing low weight heat transfer paper can bring the following benefits:
1. Cost reduction: For paper of the same weight, the lower the weight, the larger the area. For example, 28 grams of uncoated paper can produce approximately 4000 square meters more per ton than 31.5 grams of paper.
2. Improve efficiency: The paper is thinner, the thermal resistance is reduced, and the heat transfer speed can be increased by more than 10%. Quick drying paper can also shorten the waiting time for drying.
3. Quality assurance: By improving the formula (such as adding coatings of gelatin and starch) or papermaking process (such as using dissolving pulp), low weight paper can also carry high ink content and prevent penetration, ensuring image clarity and color saturation.
4. Environmental Protection and Convenience: Non coated paper reduces the production process, and the application of water-based ink is also more environmentally friendly. Paper is thinner and lighter, making it easier to store, transport, and operate.
How to choose low weight heat transfer paper
 
        When making a choice, the following aspects need to be considered:
1. Clarify the purpose and requirements:
·Is it for clothing printing or hard materials (such as ceramics, metals) transfer printing?
·What are the requirements for the vividness and precision of colors in images?
·Is it large-scale high-speed production or small-scale DIY?
2. Consider printers and ink:
·Confirm the printer model and ink type you are using (sublimation ink, water-based ink, etc.). Different types of paper have different compatibility with printers and ink, for example, uncoated paper usually has better compatibility with water-based ink.
3. Balance weight and performance:
·The lower the weight, the better. It is important to ensure that the selected weight meets your image quality and ink absorption requirements. For example, printing large areas of dark patterns may require paper with better ink absorption properties (such as coated or uncoated paper), rather than blindly pursuing ultra-low weight.
4. Pay attention to brand and reputation:
·Choose a reputable brand and refer to the reviews of other users. Domestic uncoated transfer paper (such as Jinzhan) can rival or even surpass some foreign products in terms of performance.
5. Cost effectiveness:
·Comprehensively calculate the cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and quality effect of single printing brought by using low weight paper, not just the unit price of paper.
 
 
         Precautions for use
1. Storage conditions: Store the heat transfer paper in a cool and dry place, avoiding moisture and high temperatures, to prevent the paper from being deformed by moisture or the coating from changing.
2. Printer setting: When changing the white transfer paper type, you may need to adjust the media type, print quality and other settings in the printer driver, and test printing to ensure the best effect and avoid waste.
3. Transfer parameters: Different papers and substrates may require fine-tuning of transfer temperature, pressure, and time. It is best to conduct a sample test before use.
4. Pay attention to the front and back of the paper: Coated heat transfer paper is usually divided into front and back sides, and it is necessary to ensure that it is printed on the coated surface when printing. Uncoated paper may be usable on both sides, but it is still necessary to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
