Steps for ceramic transfer printing
1. Design preparation:
Design patterns using graphic software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Key: The pattern must be horizontally flipped (mirrored) so that it is correctly transferred onto the ceramic.
Adjust the canvas size according to the size of the ceramic item.
2. Printing:
Print the mirrored pattern onto sublimation transfer paper.
Ensure to use the correct printer ICC color profile to obtain the most accurate colors.
3. Prepare for transfer printing:
Clean the ceramic surface to ensure there is no dust or grease.
Fix the printed transfer paper onto the ceramic with high-temperature tape, with the pattern surface tightly attached to the ceramic. Prevent movement and ghosting during heating process.
