Sublimation cup transfer printing is a process of printing patterns on cups, using sublimation ink and high temperature and pressure to penetrate the surface material of the cup, achieving a long-lasting and clear printing effect.
Main Steps
1. Prepare materials: Use design software to create or select suitable patterns, which need to be mirrored (to avoid reverse printing after transfer printing).
2. Printing patterns: Use sublimation specific ink to print patterns on sublimation transfer paper, ensuring clear patterns and accurate colors.
3. Fixed pattern: Attach the printed transfer paper pattern to the surface of the cup and fix it with high-temperature tape to prevent displacement.
4. High temperature transfer printing: Place the cup into a heat transfer baking machine, set the appropriate temperature (usually 180-200 ℃) and time (about 30-60 seconds), and heat the machine to sublime the ink and attach it to the cup.
5. Complete cooling: After the transfer is completed, remove the cup, tear off the transfer paper, and wait for the cup to cool before use.
Suitable cups.
Mainly suitable for cups with surface coatings (such as ceramic cups, mugs, etc.), these coatings can better absorb sublimated ink, ensuring the firmness of patterns and color expression.
The advantage of this process is that the pattern colors are bright, the details are rich, and it is resistant to washing and not easy to fall off, making it suitable for personalized customization and small batch production.
